Regnum Christi will be present at the Vocations Fair with a stand dedicated to making Christ present, the Kingdom in person, Heaven here and now: a space “...".“Heaven Spoiler”. There will be dynamics, a photocall, It will be attended by young people from different vocations, localities and languages to share the mission and proposal of Regnum Christi.
The City of Joy in the WYD Lisbon has two spaces: the Forgiveness Park and the Vocational Fair. In the first, there will be the opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation in different languages, so that WYD will be a moment of encounter with the mercy of Christ. And next to it, there will be the Vocational Fair, an event that will last four days and where young people will have the opportunity to attend conferences and testimonies, and come into contact with different movements, associations, communities, religious orders and social projects to learn more about the charisms that make up “the beautiful garden of the Church”.
The Regnum Christi booth will consist of three walls that create a space to interact, to participate in vocational dynamics and to explain what Regnum Christi is.
Share a spoiler of Heaven with others
The central wall contains the way of expressing the mission of Regnum Christi that we launched on the occasion of WYD: Heaven Spoiler. The wall on the left welcomes the Regnum Christi family, and is dedicated to the mission: to make present the Kingdom, Christ, Heaven, as Christ who goes out to meet us, reveals his love, gathers us, forms, sends and accompanies us in the mission.
This side contains a dynamic that consists of many envelopes lined up inside which people are invited to put a card in which they write a spoiler of the Heaven they have lived: an experience of encounter with the living Christ. In return, they will be able to take the card that another young person has put in the envelope, which they will be able to take with them. Each card includes the QR of the Regnum Christi international web landing page and a phrase from the Bible. Cards will be available in Spanish and English.
Four banners will hang from the ceiling, one for each vocation of the Regnum Christi family. With them, the young people who attend the stand will be able to explain what each vocation consists of, and how this mission of being Heaven Spoiler is something to which we are called together as a Regnum Christi family.
Is God calling me?
On the right side you can read in English “Is that you, God?”. It is a photocall with which we invite each young person to ask themselves what God is calling them to in life and to follow His call. There will be a phone hanging, and the young people will be invited to sit on the stool, follow “God's call”, and take a picture that can always remind them that God loves them, has created them not by chance but with a vocation to love unique to each one.
Young people conquer the booth: program of activities
But the Regnum Christi stand will have more: there will be objects and posters to take pictures with, a small sound system for group dynamics, visits from young people and live music. Every day, for one hour from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a group of young people from different countries will take over the stand and propose an activity to make this moment a special one.
