On August 20 and 21, Regnum Christi 2020 held a digital training day for those responsible for communications, which was attended by those responsible for communications in the localities of the territories of Monterrey and Mexico-Central America, as well as those responsible for communications in educational works, apostolates and consecrated branches in the same territories.
More than 50 communication managers participated in the live transmission during the two days of conferences, panels and moments of prayer.
The activities began with the participation of Bernardo Pérez, Consecrated Laity of Regnum Christi and Territorial Apostolate Manager, who explained the main points of the Territorial Apostolic Plan.
Afterwards, the first of two panels was held, with the theme “The new canonical configuration of Regnum Christi”, with the participation of consecrated Gina Chávez, responsible for communication of the Regnum Christi Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi Pablo Beuchat, responsible for communication of the Consecrated Laity of Regnum Christi; and Fr. Julio Muñoz, LC. During the panel, the process for the canonical configuration of Regnum Christi, its current structure and some important concepts to understand this new stage, such as autonomy and communion, were presented. The first day of activities concluded with the Eucharistic Hour.
On the second day of activities, the panel “Digital Evangelization” was held, with the presence of the directors of some of the most important Catholic digital projects in Mexico: Fr. Jorge Obregón, LC (New fire), Martín Chávez (Hombre nuevo), Mauricio Artieda (Catholic-Link) and Pablo Pérez de la Vega (Catholic net). Throughout the panel, some challenges and proposals for the creation and promotion of Catholic projects were presented, as well as suggestions and recommendations for an impactful digital evangelization.
The purpose of the following conference was to present some practical guidelines for the use of social networks in digital evangelization. It presented some key points for the creation of digital projects and commented on the publication of a series of documents with practical guidelines for those responsible for communication on issues such as the security of digital platforms or the transmission of live activities.
The day's activities concluded with a presentation by the territorial training team, who presented the training proposal for the territory. The complete calendar of webinars and training workshops was also presented, as well as the courses available on the platform. We are CR.
