The Dopomoyích Ukrainian Relief Campaign not only channels in-kind and financial aid to the victims of the war in Ukraine, but also to the victims of the war in Ukraine. Altius Foundation, the social work of Regnum Christi in Spain, has also already been able to help 40 Ukrainian refugees to come to Spain, who will be comprehensively accompanied.
They arrived last Sunday, March 27, and will be hosted in a house with the collaboration of Hakuna, and accompanied by volunteers, among them two consecrated women of Regnum Christi in Spain, Fabiola Marton and Pati Sanchez. For the arrival of these people in Spain, the NGO Cadena, Altius' counterpart in the field, and the work of Begoña Baños, member and coordinator of the Altius Foundation in Poland at the moment, have been fundamental. They identify the people who leave Ukraine and wish to come to Spain, facilitating that everything is done according to national and international protocols and in the best conditions.
This group of people arriving from Ukraine will be hosted in a house provided by Hakuna, located in Cifuentes, Guadalajara. From this house, some of them will leave shortly for their host families, and others will stay there for a longer stay.
If you feel called to collaborate with the Dopomoyích campaign to help those affected by the war in Ukraine, there are several ways to do so: as an accompanying or host volunteer, as a host family, with in-kind support, and with financial support. Everything can be found on the website.
